Easy Butterfly Mini Mosacato Gift

Simple and stunning, these mini Moscato bottles look gorgeous decorated with beautiful butterflies and sumptuous satin ribbon.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Thinlits Mini Mosato Convention 2015 Roomie Gift | Also perfect for party or shower decorations | Created by Rachel and Katie Legge rachelleggestampinup.wordpress.comWe made eight of these little wine bottle decorations to give as ‘Roomie Gifts’ to our friends at the recent South Pacific Convention, inspired by our Butterfly Curvy Keepsake Box Convention Swaps. Fortunately, none of the bottles broke in our check-in luggage on the way to the Gold Coast and everyone loved their little gift. Below is a photo one of our roomies shared of theirs…

Wanna know the best thing about these gifts? They’re super easy to make. Simply wrap a length of white organza ribbon around the neck of a bottle and secure with double sided tape (or a glue dot). Layer a glimmer paper and vellum butterfly, cut using the Butterfly Thinlits dies, and complete with a small strip of rhinestone jewels! Simple as that! Imagine a bunch of these darling bottles, lined up on a table at a party or shower. They’re perfect for favours and you can substitute the Moscato for any type of drink or even a bar of chocolate (trust me, it works, we created two for our non-alcoholic-drinking roomies ;)).

Check back here this weekend for some Convention photos and hopefully a few sneak peeks from the NEW 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue. We’ll be keeping an ear out for the Australia Post van tomorrow, fingers crossed it arrives before the weekend!

Happy crafting,
Rachel and Katie xx

  1. Oh they are just stunning! I missed convention this year but I’m excited about the new convention format and the new Live Stage Events we have coming. Thankyou for the inspiration.
