Simple and Easy Lotus Blossom Notecards

Hello!

Today’s post features a set of note cards made using the gorgeous new Sale A Bration set Lotus Blossom.

Stampin' Up! Simple and Easy Strawberry Slush Lotus Blossom Thank You Notecards Set Created by Katie Legge rachelleggestampinup.wordpress.comThe set is kind of amazing… it’s a three step stamp. Yep, you read that right, THREE steps. But don’t worry, Stampin’ Up! has made it super easy to create the layered lotus; the stamps are photopolymer, making lining up the images really easy (because you can see right through the stamp). Additionally, the blossom stamps come with tabs (much like the Wonderous Wreath stamp set) so you know which direction to stamp them in. Not only that, the stamps are numbered so it’s easy to know what order to stamp the images.

The Details

  • These lotus blossoms were stamped using only two inks: Strawberry Slush and Wild Wasabi. To achieve the different colours I have simply stamped off to create a lighter tone. I found it easiest to stamp the darkest tone first then to stamp the lighter tones (i.e. the solid images).
  • I’ve added a little silver glimmer paper and a scattering of rhinestones to add a little bling and take the card up a notch.
  • Both sentiments (‘Thank you’ and ‘The kindness you show has no end’) are from the Lotus Blossom set.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Don’t forget, you can get this beautiful stamp set FREE, simply by placing a $90 order (before shipping). Contact me today to get your very own Lotus Blossom stamp set.

Happy Stampin’,
Rachel and Katie xx
