Stampin’ Up! Season of Style Wreath

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

Today I would like to share a Christmas Wreath I recently made. You may have seen these curled paper wreaths around the web – they are quite popular (and really easy to make). To create this wreath I have used half inch strips of Designer Series Paper, curled around a pencil and attached to a foam wreath with pins. For the paper curls I have used the striped pattern paper from the Season of Style Paper Stack. Not only is the paper stack the perfect size for card fronts, it is also the exact length needed for the curls which is awesome because it saves time and paper.

Merry Christmas Wreath-001On the Merry Christmas banner I have used both heat embossing (for the letters that spell out Christmas, using white embossing powder) and dry embossing for the Merry tags using the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The birds were hand cut using a picture from the internet as a template…aren’t they cute 🙂
